Lighting the tree in 2013

Anegada’s tree lighting ceremony is the centerpiece of this Flotilla and the island’s yearly celebration of the Christmas season. Since the donation of the Island’s 35’ Christmas tree, the largest in the region, locals and tourists gather to watch as its 15,000 lights illuminate the clear night sky. There is no doubt this event embodies the Christmas spirit of charity, tradition, community and celebration.
