Created by the tides of Fundy Bay, these caves are formed of rocks and sandstone formed 250 million years ago. During low tide you can walk along the ocean floor and into the caves, but at high tide, the caves can be submerged. Fundy Bay has one of the highest tides in the world at 11 meters and is comparable to a day’s worth of river water from every river in the world entering the oceans. Make sure to check the tide schedule and time often so you don’t accidentally get carried away with exploring and get stuck in a cave!
