This year is a very special anniversary for Broad Reach Foundation and we're planning to celebrate at our annual fundraiser golf
event, the Nelson Johnson Memorial Golf Tournament. We’re celebrating our 10^th Year of Inspiring Youth Through Sailing.  We have had the privilege of providing our unique life and leadership sailing programs to nearly 2000 youth-at-risk.  For many the experience has motivated them to make positive changes in their own lives and communities and we’re thrilled that some have chosen to become part of our community by becoming volunteer mentors. 

This season we are excited to be expanding our programs to Oakville and Scarborough so that youth can participate in their own neighbourhoods, with member volunteers of their local sailing communities and not need to travel for hours.

As you are aware, all our programs are free of charge to the youth.  This is possible because of the generosity of many individuals who understand how important it is to give young people a positive way to learn new skills, build confidence and self esteem.  Sailing, as part of a team on board our yachts provides a uniquely effective classroom for them to learn, quite literally the ‘classroom that rocks!’

With expanding programs, need for experienced instructors and vital maintenance on our aging fleet of training yachts we really need your support please. Please can I encourage you to register now and to invite family and friends whom you feel may share your interest in the work we do or just enjoy a great day's golf.  Perhaps you would like to entertain clients by booking a foursome, we will also have some great prizes at the awards dinner.
By booking before June 20th you get the advantage of the EARLY BIRD rate of just $145 ($50 tax receipt).  For every $300 donated to Broad Reach Foundation between January 1st - August 12th you will be entered in a prize draw for a charter boat in this year's Sailing Flotilla to the British Virgin Islands in December.  Please see our donations page for more details of this competition.
