Stories and songs from the Canadian North with David Newland (January 28, 1pm EST)
This event takes place at 1pm EDT.
Icebergs, narwhals, and Muskox Stew — have you ever wondered about life in the North? Join David Newland for a musical introduction to the Arctic, homeland of the Inuit—including Canada’s Governor General, Mary Simon. Based on his own experiences, David’s songs and stories remind Canadians that the celebrated Northwest Passage is a journey thorough Inuit territory—one that David has taken many times, with many lessons learned along the way!
